Rochdale AFC fans woke up this morning to the prospect of their team not playing today, because their pitch was buried in snow.
But showing that their support extends far beyond simply turning up to watch, they got stuck in to make sure the game would happen.
Dozens of them responded to a Twitter appeal by the club to come down and help clear the pitch so that the referee could inspect it.
And after hours of gruelling work they were rewarded by the referee's approval and free tickets to the game.
Tranmere Rovers have released a statment after sacking manager Ronnie Moore.
"Tranmere Rovers Football Club have today terminated the employment of Ronnie Moore for being in breach of his contract.
Moore has admitted an FA charge regarding multiple breaches of Rule E8(b) for misconduct in relation to betting and requested a personal hearing.
Football Operations Director and Club Secretary Mick Horton said: 'Tranmere Rovers will not tolerate any action that damages the integrity of this Football Club.'Any staff members found to be guilty of misconduct will face severe action.'"

Preston North End have signed former Bolton skipper Kevin Davies on a two-year deal.
The England international forward left Bolton Wanderers in the summer after ten seasons in which he played over 400 games for the Trotters.
He has been given the No.9 shirt and is available to play in North End's pre-season friendly against Liverpool on Saturday.
