In August 2015 Letby assaulted Child E and injected air into his bloodstream. Nearly 24 hours later, she poisoned Child F with insulin.

Child D's mother also believed the death would have been prevented if CCTV was in use in the hospital nursery room.

She told the public inquiry into the events surrounding the crimes of the serial killer nurse that she had been “kept her in the dark”.
