The jury in the Liverpool Crown Court trial heard Ashley Dale’s own voice describing events in the weeks leading up to the shooting.

James Witham has pleaded guilty to manslaughter but continues to deny the murder of Ashley Dale. He is due to stand trial on 2 October.

He was arrested by the Spanish National Police and extradited from Spain, with the support of the National Crime Agency’s National Extradition Unit.
