There's been some disappointment in the North West as cloud blocked views of tonight's Supermoon. It was the most spectacular supermoon since 1948, appearing 14 per cent bigger and 30 per cent brighter than usual.} And some viewers managed to spot it in parts of Cheshire and Merseyside.
