Police are investigating the death of a care home resident in Manchester. 73 year old Ivan Campbell, was a resident at a private nursing home in Rusholme. He was admitted to hospital on Monday 16 April and died the next day.
A Home Office post mortem found he died from internal injuries a review has concluded they were non-accidental.
Detectives from the Major Incident Team have launched an investigation to establish how the injuries were caused and who is responsible for causing them.
