Relatives of soldiers killedin Iraq have been told they can sue the government for damages by the Court of Appeal

Private Lee Ellis died in 2006, when his Land Rover was blown up.

His family say the Ministry of Defence failed to provide armoured vehicles or equipment which could have saved lives andshould pay compensation.

MoD bosses say decisions about battlefield equipment are for politicians and military commanders.
