MPs and peers will consider a report from Manchester Metropolitan University raising concerns on joint enterprise convictions.

The study called, "Dangerous associations: Joint enterprise, gangs and racism’, claims the law allows people to be convicted for another person's crime just because they are present at the scene.

Focusing on Manchester, Nottingham and London, the report suggests Black, Asian and Minority ethnic communities are systematically discriminated against in joint enterprise prosecutions.
