Two men charged with murder of man in Crewe

Two men have been charged with the murder of a man in Crewe.

The 51-year-old victim, from Crewe, died on Wednesday, August 31 after he was stabbed in the chest during an incident in an alleyway off Edleston Road.

Two men and one woman were arrested the following morning and, following questioning, Oliver Dabbs, aged 19, of Wood Street, Crewe and Cameron Scragg, aged 20, of Gresty Road, Crewe have now been charged with murder.

They have been remanded into custody, and will appear at South Cheshire Magistrates Court tomorrow from 9.45am.

The 46-year-old woman has been released on bail, pending further enquiries. Cheshire police are not looking for anyone else in connection with this incident.
