Liverpool Glacial Art team return from global competition

The Liverpool ice sculptors are heading for a gruelling global competition next month.

The team, which has worked on high profile projects including TV's 'Game of Thrones', will take part in the Alaska ice sculpting championships, known as 'Ice Alaska', for the first time.

Backed by Liverpool Gin, expert sculptors Mat Foster and Mat Chaloner will take their protégées Attila and Paul to tackle the week-long contest in sub-zero temperatures.

Mat and Mat, who have taken part in the European Ice Sculpting Championships for a number of years, are preparing to go head to head with some of the world's best ice sculptors.
