A recruitment drive with a difference has been taking place today in Cheshire. To address a skills shortage in the cybersecurity industry, potential candidates have been taking part in a special exercise hosted by one of the country's leading banking groups.
The simulation is being run by Barclays and government backed security initiative Cyber Security Challenge UK. Organisers hope the competition will unearth the UK's hidden cyber talent. It's thought the cyber security skills gap will reach 1.8m unfilled roles by 2022 if current hiring trends continue.
