Domestic abuse campaigners honoured with MBEs

Coming to terms with the death of a child is the most difficult thing any parent will ever have to endure.

For Trevor and Sheila Fairhurst it was the loss of their daughter, murdered by her boyfriend.
Since then they've been raising money and awareness to put an end to domestic abuse.

And today their hard work was recognised by royalty as they were both awarded MBE's.
