Metrolink services return to normal

“Firstly, I’d like to apologise to our customers for the disruption to services and thank everyone for their patience.

“We have been doing everything in our power to identify and fix the issues as quickly as possible and I do appreciate just how frustrating it is when services are disrupted.

“I’m pleased to say that Metrolink services are now back up and running to Bury and Customer Service Representatives will remain in place at stops on the Bury line to advise and assist passengers.

“We are still investigating the cause of the issues we experienced and I once again apologise to anyone affected by these isolated incidents, which combined to make our passengers' journeys very difficult yesterday evening and this morning.”
