The Isle of Man's Charlotte Atkinson has claimed fourth place in the Women's 200m Butterfly Final at the Commonwealth Games in Australia.

She narrowly missed winning the island's first medal of the Games, but lost out by 45 secs behind Australia's Emma McKeon.

Welsh swimmer Alys Thomas won gold with Australian Laura Taylor coming second.

Atkinson, aged 21, came fifth in the 100m at the Gold Coast. She's the first Manx swimmer in a Commonwealth Games Final for 48 years.
