One of the moorland blazes that firefighters have been tackling for three weeks is now out.
Manchester Fire service have confirmed that the blaze on Saddleworth Moor is now out and they have withdrawn all crews from the site.
Although with more warm weather forecast they have advised visitors to moorland to ensure they remain aware of risks - such as disposable barbeques and leaving litter that could cause new fires.
Union says the growing risk represents "another strain on dwindling resources."
The massive moorland fire in Saddleworth is now being investigated as arson.
