Men convicted of historical homosexual offences could be pardoned in a shake-up of the Isle of Man's sexual offence laws.
The government has asked people for their views on a number of measures to "modernise" legislation.
The most significant proposals are:
- updating the definition of consent
- reviewing sentences for offences
- modernising the legislation relating to pornography and obscene publications
- pardoning and removing criminal records relating to historic consensual homosexual offences
