London Zoo animals line up to be counted

All the animals are being counted at London Zoo today from the tiny leafcutter ants to the huge silverback gorillas.

The compulsory annual count is required as part of the attraction's licence.

The data will be shared with zoos worldwide to help with breeding programmes.
