Could this be the hottest Halloween on record? UK set to be hotter than Istanbul
With cooler temperatures and dull outbreaks of rain today it may feel like we're heading towards winter fast.
But England will see temperatures picking back up tomorrow and peaking on Friday with potential highs of up to 21C in Central London. That's 9C warmer than Istanbul.
The current warmest temperature ever recorded in the UK at Halloween is 20C (recorded in Waltham Cross in 1989 and also in Dartford in 1968).
So if temperatures do reach 21C on Friday the 31st it will be the warmest Halloween since records began. Friday is also set to stay dry and bright for most with the best of the sunshine in the south east.
