The anonymous buyer will have super-rich neighbours - The Bishops Avenue has been nicknamed 'Billionaires Row'. However, they did manage to knock the price down - the house was originally on the market for £39m.

The deal was logged with the Land Registry on December 5th, the day after stamp duty increased. Credit: SWNS
