London's drag community donned their most flamboyant outfits today to protest against the closure of one of the city's most iconic gay venues.

The Black Cap in Camden was closed down by the owners despite being awarded an 'asset of community value' status by the council earlier this month.

Planning permission has previously been sought to turn the drag club into flats.
