Two opposing groups of protesters came face to face outside an abortion clinic in Ealing this afternoon.
Women who had visited the Marie Stopes clinic in west London had complained they were being harassed by anti-abortion campaigners.
Today pro-choice campaigners turned out at the clinic to make sure anyone going in was not being abused.
Genevieve Edwards from Marie Stopes says the anti-abortion protesters have the right to demonstrate but must not interfere with any woman going into the clinic.
But midwife Clare Mulvany says women should be given more support rather than offering free abortions.
