Journalist banned from high profile Boris event because she is Israeli

Boris Johnson was involved in a row today after an Israeli journalist was banned from a high profile event backed by City Hall.

The mayor is due to be the star guest at the Palestinian Business Women's Forum in Ramallah.

The meeting is supported by his business and tourism agency London & Partners.

But Noga Tarnopolsky, who is reporting on the mayor's visit to Israel for the influential Jewish Chronicle newspaper, was told she was not welcome.

Forget the lies about it targeting institutions rather than people. As this outrageous ban on a journalist for no reason other than her nationality shows, it is about singling out individual Israelis and telling them that they are banned as people.
