Sam Cullen, 28, began his mission to visit a pub near every London Underground station in March 2013 with a pint at The Fountains Abbey in Paddington.

I’ve consistently said my favourite is The Atlas in West Brompton. It was just a very nice day when I went and it’s such a cosy pub. There was also one which made me go ‘oh my god’. Just towards the end of my blog I went to Hatton Cross where you can hear the planes flying over for Heathrow and this industrial noise. But about five minutes from the station there’s a really old pub called the Green Man which dates back to the 1700s. It was like an old country pub and you think ‘what on earth is this doing 10 minutes from Heathrow?’

He visited every station in the order they were added to the transport network and find a decent pub close by, blogging about the experience on his INNside Track website.
