A police officer in today's London Pride parade surprised his partner by proposing in the middle of the parade.
The Met officer was one of more than 100 police taking part in today's pride event in London.
As he walked down Regent Street, he broke ranks and got down on one knee asking his partner Jonathan Sammons to marry him.
Mr Sammons told ITV News that he had no idea that his partner was going to propose, adding:"Speechless! Amazing! Oh my God, I can't believe he did it."
His partner said:"It's been planned for a while but not like this".
A second couple, both serving police officers, were also snapped in the middle of a proposal.
The Met Police's LGBT network account tweeted a picture of an officer down on one knee with the message: "He said yes too."
The happy couples were snapped by photographers as thousands celebrated the annual event in the capital.
The officers were among around 80 to take part in the march, representing the Met.
