Police have identified a man and woman found stabbed to death in Fulham.
Police were called at approximately 4.25am reports of a stabbing at a residential address in Fulham Court, in Fulham
Officers and London Ambulance Service attended and found a man, Stephen Michael Bernard, and a woman, Helen Fraser, both aged 50-years, inside the address suffering stab injuries.
Both were pronounced dead at the scene on Monday, 20 June,
A post-mortem examination at Uxbridge Mortuary on Tuesday, 21 June found the cause of death for Helen Fraser to be multiple stab wounds.
The cause of death for Stephen Michael Bernard was found to be a self-inflicted stab wound to the chest.
Next of kin have been informed, and specially trained family liaison officers are supporting them.
The investigation continues and is being led by Detective Chief Inspector Mark Lawson, Homicide and Major Crime Command.
Detectives are not seeking anyone else in connection with the incident. An inquest will open and adjourn in due course.
