A teenager who filmed himself climbing the outside of a 43-floor skyscraper for a YouTube video has been helped down by police.
The boy, who is believed to be in his late teens, brought traffic to a standstill in Stratford as officers secured the area.
It is thought he may have been trying to copy YouTuber Night Scape who has racked up 656,416 views on a video showing him scaling the 133m high Halo building earlier this month.
Police were called to the latest attempt at 3.40pm and helped the youngster down from the roof about 20 minutes later.
William Ward, who lives in the building, warned that it could have ended in a tragedy.
"He's lucky that he didn't fall," he said. "He seemed very unsure of himself."
