Clay heads of both have been sculpted over the last six months in readiness for one to stand as the 45th president of America at London's Madame Tussauds.

Knowing how many eyes are diligently watching this election has made these sculptures even more exciting to work on than usual.

I cannot wait to see which candidate will be victorious and who we’ll get to make a wax figure of.

The winning candidates will not only have their waxwork in London come inauguration day on January 20, but also at Madame Tussauds attractions in New York, Orlando and Washington D.C.

The result of the election is likely to be known in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
