Police have released CCTV images of two men they want to speak to after a father-of-two was stabbed to death following a brawl at a boxing event.

Luther Edwards, 31, became involved in a fight at the venue at York Hall in Old Ford Road, and was then attacked as he left.

He collapsed on the forecourt of a petrol station near Bethnal Green Tube station at around 10.35pm on Friday 29 July.

Mr Edwards died of a stab wound to the heart.

Detectives now want to identify and speak to the two men in the CCTV images.

Both are described as black, in their mid-20s and wearing dark-coloured trousers and tops.

One of the men is wearing a hat with a white motif on the front.

Luther was at this event to watch a friend box and there were a number of other boxers who brought those they know to the venue, so I am convinced that someone will know the two men we are seeking to identify.
