Police in Bexley are appealing for the public's help - officers were called at 1pm on October 5 to reports of a man being assaulted at Esso petrol station, Broadway, Bexleyheath.

The victim - a 36-year-old man - suffered a cut elbow and fractured jaw as a result of the attack.

CCTV footage from the petrol station caught two men parking their car on the forecourt before walking over to a nearby restaurant. When the victim asked them to move the car, one of the men hit him in the face causing him to fall to the ground.

The suspect is a large white man in his early 30s with short brown hair, beard and wearing black shorts and a dark t-shirt with a white square logo.

No arrests have been made and enquiries continue.
