Police have named a pensioner who died 12 days after being hit by car, as they appeal for witnesses to come forward.

Beryl Chenery, 81, was struck by a silver Ford Fiesta at around 2.10pm on Friday 4 November in Townley Road, Bexleyheath.

The female driver stopped at the scene.

Mrs Chenery, of Bexleyheath, suffered serious injuries and died in hospital on November 16.
