Mother left terrified as man assaults her children on the tube in north London

A mother was left terrified as a man assaulted her children as they travelled together on the tube.

Police are appealing for witnesses following an incident where two children were assaulted on board a Metropolitan Line service from Liverpool Street to Uxbridge.

The train was at Wembley Park when a man onboard the service shouted at two children, aged four and five.

The man was unhappy that the children, who were accompanied by their mother, had their feet on the seats.

He grabbed one of the children by the ankle and the other by the knee and tried to physically remove them from the seats.

The attack took place around 5.20pm on November 12.
