Police release CCTV following an assault in east London

CCTV has been released by police in Newham after a man was assaulted in east London.

Officers were called to Romford Road in Forest Gate after a 38-year-old man was hit in the mouth and kicked when he had fallen down.

The attack happened on 24th September following an argument outside a club

The victim received cuts to the head and was treated for his injuries.

The suspect is described as a white man in his mid 40s, 5ft 10ins tall with a bald head. He was seen wearing a black leather jacket, dark blue trousers and dark shoes.

No arrests have been made.
