Olaseni Lewis death: Inquest condemns medics and police

For nearly seven years, the family of Olaseni Lewis have fought to find out the truth about how he died.

Today, an inquest jury ruled it was at least partly due to 'prolonged and disproportionate restraint' by 11 police officers. They had been called after Mr Lewis tried to leave the psychiatric hospital in Bromley where he was being treated. Outside court his family said those officers should now face prosecution.
