Footage of a teenager who was stabbed several times during a fight at a restaurant has been released.

Scotland Yard has appealed for witnesses following the brawl at Mahins Pizza Peri Peri Grill in Newham on Friday, October 6.

The Met said that two suspects got into a fight with the 18-year-old victim around 8pm and received multiple stab wounds.

The victim attempted getting behind the shop's front counter in a bid to escape his attackers.

He was left requiring hospital treatment.

Footage of the attack has been released by police as they seek to identify the suspects.

Detective Constable Phil Fox said: "This is an attack on a man who suffered multiple stab wounds from his ordeal.

"We are asking for anyone who recognises these two teenagers to come forward and assist us with our investigation."

The first suspect is described as a black teenager who was wearing a dark blue hooded top over a grey hooded top, while the second is also described as a black teenager, who was wearing a black padded jacket over a black hooded top and striped tracksuit trousers.
