A London bus has been filmed smashing into the back of several vehicles before veering across lanes.
The 254 bus was seen shunting cars along Lower Clapton Road in Hackney and sending a 4x4 spinning as it dangerously moved across three lanes.
Two people suffered minor injuries during the pile-up on Thursday evening, which led to road closures.
The cause of the collision remains unclear.
Police said no arrests had been made.
In footage shared on Twitter, passersby could be heard shouting and car tyres screeching as the bus collided with the vehicles.
Pictures later showed significant damage to the front of the Transport for London bus.
Two other cars were also shown to be badly damaged.
A Scotland Yard spokesperson said: "Police were called at approximately 16:40hrs on Thursday, 9 November to Lower Clapton Road, E5 following reports of a Route 254 bus in collision with a number of vehicles.
"Officers attended. Two people sustained minor injuries. Road closures remain in place. There have been no arrests."
TfL said an investigation was being undertaken.
A TfL spokesperson said: " At approximately 4.30pm on Thursday a 254 double deck bus operated by Arriva collided with three cars in Lower Clapton Rd between the Lea Bridge roundabout and Cricketfield Rd, E5.
"An investigation is underway."
