After several weeks of long-hot sunshine London has been issued with a warning for thunderstorms.
The Met Office say there is a chance of some heavy downpours across the capital and Home Counties on Friday.
Their yellow warning is in place from 2pm to midnight.
Any sight of rain would provide relief for the London Fire Brigade, who were kept busy earlier in the week by a grass fire in east London.
Over a-hundred firefighters were tackling the flames at Wanstead Flats which covered an area the size of 100 football pitches.
It's now been brought under control.
Meanwhile, the hot spell looks set to continue for the rest of the month with forecasters predicting temperatures of up to 30 degrees over the weekend.
