A teenager who was stabbed to death in Greenwich has been named by police.

18-year old Aron Warren was found dead in his flat at Topham House on Prior Street on Saturday (8th December).

Despite the efforts of paramedics he died at the scene.

Detectives had arrested a 17-year old boy on suspicion of murder but he's now been released without any further action.

Scotland Yard are now asking anyone who was in the area at around 9:15pm to contact them as they may have seen the killer run away from the tower block.

Detective Chief Inspector Larry Smith, said:

"While we continue to work to piecetogether the events that led to Aron’s murder, I would appeal to anyone who wasin the vicinity of Topham House in Prior Street from around 9:15pm to contactpolice.

"We believe Aron was attacked inside the flat where he was residing in Topham Houseso I am particularly keen to speak to anyone who let someone into the buildingprior to the murder or who saw anyone fleeing the scene."
