Police have arrested a teenager in connection with the murder of 17-year-old Jodie Chesney in a park in Harold Hill.
The 17-year-old boy is being questioned by police at an east London police station.
Jodie was stabbed in the back on the evening on March 1 as she listened to music in a park with friends. Two men aged 20 and 18, and a 16-year-old boy have been charged with her murder.
Three other people, a 50-year-old man, a 38-year-old woman and a 17-year-old boy, have been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender. They have been released under investigation.
