Detectives have released a CCTV image of a man they want to interview over the death of seven-year-old Joel Urhie.
Joel died in a fire at his family home on Adolphus Street in Deptford on August 7 of last year. His mother and older sister managed to escape by jumping from first floor windows. They were both injured.
The man in the CCTV image was at the Shell garage on Shooters Hill Road in Blackheath at 2:20am on the day of the attack, just over an hour before the fire started.
He is caught on camera with a petrol can he filled with fuel and paid for with cash.
The man was dressed in blue jeans, blue deck shoes and a blue t-shirt with a two word motif. The second word reads 'removals.' He was riding a push bike.
