The London singer Mabel has been named by YouTube Music as the first UK-based Artist on the Rise.

Two years after breaking through the industry with her chart-topping track 'Finders Keepers', her songs have been listed to more than 100 million times on the platform.

In recognition, her face is now being broadcast on the capital's most famous billboard at Piccadilly Circus.

"It's so exciting. It's definitely a dream come true. It just feels overwhelming. Seeing my face in Piccadilly Circus is so amazing. It's like I have butterflies, I never know what's gonna happen next. It's kind of the best feeling where I just get surprised by all these amazing things happening."

Mabel's had a pretty busy few years, performing alongside One Direction's Harry Styles, at Wembley...not to mention sell out gigs around the world.

Last December every ticket was bought for her performance at Brixton Academy.

"It's difficult business but I have always been very clear on my vision. It's just about keeping your eyes, and ears, open."

As well as the people she works alongside, Mabel puts her success to being focused on a vision of making it in the industry.

Mabel is currently working on her debut album 'High Expectations' which is released in August.

Although she's proving that anything is possible.
