This year's summer pavilion has been unveiled at the Serpentine Gallery in Hyde Park.
Designed by Japanese architect Junya Ishigami, the roof of the 19th annual Serpentine pavilion is formed of hundreds of pieces of Cumbrian slate supported on a metal canopy, all designed to resemble a 'stone hill'.
In previous years designs have included a structure by Chiliean architect Smilijan Radic in 2014, which was likened to a donut.
The new pavilion is free to visit and will host a programme of events over the summer. It will be in place until October.
