CCTV shows thieves breaking into jewellery shop through a wall
Two thieves made off with hundreds of thousands of pounds worth of gold, after smashing into a jewellers from the barbershop next door.
The two masked burglars can been seen emerging through a cupboard after making a hole in the wall and climbing through.
They are then caught on camera emptying cabinets full of Asian gold jewellery, worth more than £300,000.
The raid happened on Lee High Road in Lewisham overnight between February 10 and 11. Police have released pictures of some of jewellery taken in the hope it can be traced.
Investigating officer Detective Constable Leisa Johnson, of the Met’s Flying Squad, said:
