Commuters had delayed journeys into central London this morning after delays hit the Underground network.
A faulty train was reported at Edgware Road at around 6am, causing problems on the District and Circle Lines. That caused knock on delays on the Hammersmith and City line.
The Jubilee Line also had train faults which caused minor delays.
More than three hours after the faulty train was reported at Edgware Road the number of passengers entering Kings Cross Underground was still being restricted, leaving hundreds stuck in the ticket hall.
Transport for London apologised to travellers who had their journeys delayed.
