Three men killed within 12 hours in stabbings across the capital

Three men have lost their lives to knife crime in a spate of stabbings across the capital.

At 2pm on Thursday 22-year-old Exauce Ngimbi was stabbed during a fight on Clarence Mews in Hackney. The air ambulance was called but he was declared dead at 2:30pm.

Two men in their twenties have been arrested on suspicion of murder. A 14-year-old boy and a 26-year-old man are also in custody.

The second attack came just after midnight. A 26-year-old man was stabbed in the back outside a side entrance to Harrods and died from his injuries despite paramedics efforts to save him.

A second man who was with him was also stabbed. He was taken to hospital but his injuries are not life threatening.

Three hours later 20-year-old Crosslom Davies died from stab wounds on a housing estate on Bronze Street in Deptford.

No arrests have been made in connection with the overnight killings and police are appealing for witnesses.
