Detectives investigating the murder of a man who was stabbed to death in a suspected fight in north London have made a second arrest.
The 47-year-old victim was pronounced dead at the scene in Shelley House, Boyton Road, Hornsey, after police were called at around 6pm on Monday.
He had been found with a stab injury after reports of a fight. Two men aged 48 and 54 have been arrested on suspicion of murder, Scotland Yard said. The victim has not been formally identified but his family have been told.
His death is the 132nd homicide identified by the PA news agency in London in 2019, including a man who was shot in 2017 but died this year.
Last year, there were 141 police-recorded homicides in the capital - the highest in a calendar year since 2008 - according to official Home Office statistics.
