19-year-old Francois Kablan was found with stab wounds on Great Dover Street at 5.30pm on Wednesday after reports of several men fighting nearby. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Three teenagers and a 20-year-old man were arrested nearby on suspicion of murder.

Francois played in the reserves for Harlow Town Football Club. In his last match for the side he scored a game winning hat-trick. In a short statement the club paid tribute to his ability.

He was certainly a talented footballer and one who could have gone on to feature for the first team.On behalf of all of the squad, and everyone at the club, our thoughts are with his family and friends.

Police have asked that anyone with information about the incident, no matter how small, contact them immediately.

Our thoughts remain with the family and friends of Francois.This is a tragic loss of life of a young man and we will continue to investigate to ensure justice.
