Action in London against Arctic drilling
There were a few raised eyebrows on the streets of central London today after a 3 tonne polar bear went on the rampage.
It was actually a puppet - operated by fifteen puppeteers.
But thousands came to see it nonetheless.
It was part of an international day of action against drilling in the Arctic.
Tragic hero's anniversary
Tonight marks 100 years since Captain Lawrence Oates sacrificed himself on Scott's mission to the South Pole. His frostbite was delaying the explorers on their way home so he walked out of their tent into the Antarctic storm to his death. Despite this, none of Scott's party survived.
