Summing up begins at Lakanal House inquest
The coroner at the inquest into a fatal tower block fire has begun summing up the evidence today. Six people died in the blaze at Lakanal House in Camberwell in 2009. Rags Martel reports.
London property boost
House sellers' asking prices in the capital are at the highest they have ever been for the month of March according to new figures.
Property website Rightmove said asking prices here are now 9% higher than they were a year ago at more than £496,000.

Amy Winehouse's home in Camden has been put up for sale by her family. The singer's body was discovered at the property in July and her fans turned the pavement outside into a shrine. The house has been put on the market for £2.7m.
London prices reach new high
House prices have seen their biggest spring bounce in six years, according to property website Rightmove. London asking prices have reached a new high of £455,159, up 7.9% year-on-year.
The average asking price in Kensington and Chelsea has broken the £2 million barrier for the first time, with typical prices standing at £2,000,120 in the borough.
Strong interest from overseas buyers has helped to boost the London market, while all 10 regions in England and Wales recorded monthly price rises in March.
