Another arrest in Waugh fraud probe

Detectives investigating the death of oil executive Carole Waugh and alleged fraud committed using her identity after she died have made another arrest.

A 63-year-old woman from Cheshunt, Hertfordshire, was detained this morning on suspicion of conspiracy to defraud and is currently being questioned at a police station in south London.

Miss Waugh, 50, vanished after a family party in April this year and her body was eventually found in a lock-up garage in New Malden, south-west London, on August 2.
