London Fields Lido will be hosting the finale of a series of 10 SwimBritain events that have been taking place across the country, with six-time world champion Mark Foster, diver Nick Robinson-Baker and Olympic bronze medallist Cassie Patten taking to the water alongside nearly 500 London swimmers.
SwimBritain aims to encourage 500,000 more people to swim regularly by 2015 with the first-ever series of team relay events and the initiative has been supported by a host of big-name swimmers including Mark, Becky Adlington, Ellie Simmonds and channel-conqueror David Walliams.
The unlicensed events unfolded on Saturday night at Clapham Common and Tooting Bec Common.
