A man who touched two women as they traveled on the Tube has been jailed for eight weeks. 25-year-old Gurjinder Singh from Ilford pleaded guilty to two counts of sexual assault.
Singh carried out the assaults on trains as they left Green Park and Oxford Circus last month.
PC Thomas O'Regan said:
"Plain clothes officers began observing Gurjinder Singh after they noticed him acting suspiciously as he was paying close attention to female passengers. He was caught during a two-week operation that saw a total of 15 people arrested across London for sexual offences.
"We don't tolerate unwanted sexual behaviour of any kind on the transport network and take all reports seriously."
